4 practical stages to develop a highly converting Social Media campaign ads

Social media has metamorphosed into a resourceful tool for businesses to showcase their products or services to their target audience. Multi-million dollars of transactions are being made on various available social media platforms between businesses and customers. This has seen many small and corporations casting their nets into the sea of social media to acquire more customers for their businesses. However, as promising as social media sales is, it requires creativity and know-how of ads-set or targeting to get maximum returns on ads spent. This article will walk you through a step by step process to create a powerful ad-set that 10X your product sale on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

Three important parts that form an effective social media advert are the Ad headline, Ad copy and Ad graphics. Although there are other parts of an effective social media structure like landing pages and copy creativity, we won't discuss those other parts for now because they are as important as the Ad headline, Ad Copy and Ad Graphics.

Your ad headline is the first statement that introduces your audience to what your Social media ad is all about. It should include words that resonate with your target audience and use not more than eight to twelves words (Except you are using a sub-headline) to describe how your products or services tend to make your audience better off. This article isn't written to explain how to write an effective ad headline, so let's move on.

Your ad copy is the body of your social media ad that describes, explains, educate or entertainment your target audience about what your products or services are all about. An ad copy can be just a single sentence, a paragraph, or multi-paragraph. Each of these copy types has a key influence on the effectiveness of your social media ad set. The ad graphic is the image that provides visual exposure or explanations about your product or services. Your ad graphic can be static or non-static, examples of non-stick graphics are videos and GIFS.

Now that we have an understanding of the 3 important parts of a social media ad set, we can now delve into the three stages to develop a highly converting Social Media advertising campaign. Each stage is explained in steps for easy understanding.

FIRST STAGE:

Step 1:

Write three different types of copies for your ad, and make sure the copies are cut across the three types of copies mentioned earlier, A single sentence, single paragraph and multi-paragraph copy.

Step 2:

Create a single graphic for each three ad copies you have earlier written. You can start with a static graphic, a poster design of your product or service.

Step 3:

Write a single ad headline for the 3 different ad copies you have written, make sure your headline is catchy and resonate with your target audience.

Step 4:

Live your social media ads campaign for these three different types of ads copies and Analyse the results. Ensure you give the ad campaign enough time to run before analysing the results. A minimum of 7days is cool enough.

Step 5:

Pick the most effective ad copy that fulfils your social media ads objective. It might be a single sentence, single paragraph or multi-paragraph. You just have for yourself the right copy for your ad.

STAGE TWO

Step 1:

Write the copy that was most effective in Stage one.

Step 2:

Create three different types of graphics for the same copy that was successful in stage one. You can use a GIF, Video and static graphic design. Anytime you are using a non-static graphic, ensure it has a human-faced feature. Your target audience would be more attracted to a human-faced graphic because they are human.

Step 3:

Create a single catchy headline for the three different graphics ad sets.

Step 4:

Same as step 4 in stage one

Step 5:

Pick the most effective ad graphics among the three that fulfil your social media ads objective. The GIF, Video or static graphic. You just have for yourself the right graphic that converts most for your ad.

STAGE 3

Step 1:

Pick the most effective copy in stage one and the most effective graphic in stage two.

Step 2:

Write three different ad headlines

Step 3:

Run three different social media ad campaigns using the three different headlines you've written, and the effective copy in stage 1 and the effective graphic in stage 2. Give your ad time to run just like stages 1 and 2.

Step 4:

Select the ad that fulfils your social media ad objective among the three tested headlines.

STAGE 4

Combine the most effective ad copy in stage one, the most effective ad graphic in stage two, and the most effective ad headline in stage three. Then create a new ad set for your service or product on Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin e.t c.

I'm convinced this ad-set would be the most powerful ad-set that would 10X your product or service sales on social media.
