4 possible reasons why Facebook restricts your ads account

Recently, I have come across complaints by business page owners on Facebook, that they couldn't put up ads on their accounts. Attempts to boost a page or run ads for a product or service have proved abortive because their accounts have been restricted by Facebook. Have you experienced that before? I had experienced it before, and I know how frustrating it could be, especially as a social media accounts manager. I'll share four reasons why Facebook could restrict your ads accounts and how to avoid this. Read to the end for an additional tip to scale your facebook ads set

INDIRECT POST

You probably attempt to run an ad for a content not directly updated from your business page. One of the reasons your ads request might not be approved by Facebook could be that attempt to boost a post shared on your business page. Facebook only accepts posts created directly on your page and not shared posts. Whenever you attempt to promote a post on your social media pages, make sure it is the post which was directly updated on your social media page.

BROKE ADS ACCOUNT

Another reason why your ads could be restricted by Facebook could also be that you might have attempted to run the ads on an insufficient balance account. Before you attempt to run an ad, make sure you have enough credit that covers the costs or charges for your ads in your bank account. Facebook might not immediately deduct the charges for the ads, but you need to make sure you have the standing amount in your account before boosting your page. If Facebook couldn't get the amount charged for your boost when it's about to make the deduction from your account, Facebook will restrict your ads accounts.

BANK DECLINATION

The third possible reason might be from your bank. Your choice of the bank in making transactions for your Facebook ads matters a lot. Some banks are terrible when it comes to digital transactions. I'd have loved to mention one of those banks to avoid, but wouldn't do that to avoid being called out for image tarnishing. Some banks do decline transactions made online by their customers, and which frustrates activation of ads by Facebook. Sometimes, you wouldn't be aware that the problem was from your bank, you would only be notified that your ads account has been restricted. The solution to this is to make use of banks with excellent digital billing operations.

YOU HAVE BEEN SPAMMED

Facebook has a bot that monitors how your page engages other posts and how your posts are being engaged. If facebook notices an abnormal frequency of post likes, comments and shares on your page, Facebook might suspect and spam your page. This may result to restriction of your ads accounts. To avoid this embarrassment, you should limit the way you engage other posts in a row, this could help avoid your page being spammed by Facebook and your ads account being restricted.

An additional tip to the above-mentioned reasons is that whenever you have the word "Facebook" written in your ads copy make sure you start the word with a capital letter. Use capital letter "F" instead of a small letter "f". Facebook flags down a post that has the word "Facebook" with a small letter "f" written in the copy. As much as the above reasons are very important to avoid your ads accounts from being restricted, it is also germane to note that the reasons are not limited to the above reasons, though these are cogent reasons. I'll also advise you read through Facebook ads policy for a restriction-free Facebook page boosting and ads placements.
